Obituary for Ben Raymond Johnson
Ben Raymond Johnson, a resident of Geneva County, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at his residence. He was 77.

Mr. Johnson was born May 24, 1944 in Jefferson County to James William and Verlie Beatrice Kimbrough and lived the early years of his life there. He moved to Geneva County in the early ‘90’s. He was a truck driver and a mechanic for many years. Mr. Johnson loved woodworking, gardening and the outdoors. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cottonwood.
He is predeceased by his parents, his first wife, Elaine Dodson Johnson, his second wife, Susan Lillian Johnson and a brother, James William Johnson, Jr.
Survivors include two children, Mike Johnson (Clara) of Dothan and Patricia “Patty” L. Dumoulin (Richard) of Cowarts; two grandchildren, Amanda McArdle and Quenton McArdle; two sisters, C. Sharon Smith of Cottonwood and Nita Johnson of Opelika; four nieces and one nephew.
