Obituary for Brenda Faye Mills
Brenda Faye Mills, 71, of Dothan, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Flowers Hospital.
Graveside services for family and friends will be held 9:00 a.m. Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Dothan City Cemetery (Lane 5) with Kendall Allen officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. The family wishes for everyone to remain safe and all masking and social distancing guidelines be observed.
Brenda was born April 15, 1949 in Dale County to George and Annie Grace Baker Klocke and lived the early years of her life there. She has been a resident of Dothan for over 30 years and was employed at Southeast Health for several years. She was of the Baptist faith.
Brenda always put her family first. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and “gangal”. The excitement she looked forward to with her three beautiful great granddaughters brought her heart joy and delight! She will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, Brenda is predeceased by a brother-in-law, Bobby Belk.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 19 years, Joseph Mills of Dothan; a son, David Peters (Lisa) of Wellington, FL; a daughter, Debbie Ingle of Rehobeth; six grandchildren, Justin Ingle (Morgan), Jared Ingle (Desarae), Jase Ingle, Zach Peters, Zane Peters, and Zander Peters; three great-granddaughters, Greenley, Ella Jane and Georgia Kate; three sisters, Sandra Chancey (Terry) of Ozark, Nan Belk of Dothan and Lisa Sorrells (Glenn) of Slocomb; a devoted friend, Jennifer Howell of Dothan.
