Obituary for Brenda Faye Wiggins (Nowell)
Ms. Brenda Faye Wiggins, 76, a resident of Dothan, passed July 27, 2020 at her home.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date at Lakeland Memorial Park in Lakeland, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
Brenda was born on January 20, 1944 to Bunyon Alexander and Emma Eldora Campbell Nowell in Cottonwood. She graduated from Cottonwood High School. Brenda resided in Lakeland, FL for several years before returning to Dothan in 2003. She worked as a CNA and attended Harvest Church.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Billy Fred Wiggins, and a grandson Andrew Trott.
Survivors include her son Harold Robert Wiggins (Michelle) of Sarasota, FL; a daughter Billie Michelle Wiggins (Johnny Peterman) of Dothan; 2 sisters Judy Nowell Melvin of Dothan and Jean Grandberry of Florida; 5 grandchildren, Kamryn, Kashyn and Khalisa Peterman, Pamela Wiggins and Alexis Wiggins; 3 great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Gabriel and Luna; and nephews Bunyon and Scotty Melvin; Keith and Todd Grandberry.
