Cathy was a fun, loving person who was a joy to be around. She volunteered with us at Southeast Health from January 2009 until May 2018. During that time she served over 3,500 hours. She was always up for any tasks and enjoyed everything she did. When Cathy was unable to volunteer any longer we would still enjoy seeing her around. You could spot her coming from a ways because she always had on a fun hat (as you can see from almost every picture!). I think she had a different hat for every outfit. Cathy you are certainly missed by those who knew and loved you. We will see you again though! Praying for peace and comfort for the family!

It's taken me 3 days to come up with something worthy of my Aunt, only thing I could come up with, just, she was loved. She had the BEST laugh and is an important part of my childhood memories! I remember Christmas days up on Hollow Road in Jersey, and the family all dancing to "Get Ready"! Food cooked with love and all my family being there....Aunt Cathy was a big part of that and I will love her forever.

Cathy was honest, earthy and practical, with no phoniness or pretenses. She was kind and eager to help others. She had a gift for great cooking and hospitality. At family gatherings I remember listening to her recount stories from family lore and what a jolly, infectious laugh she had. She always had my respect. I wish I had known her better, Jan Fancher

Cathy was such a joy to know. I knew her through the Wii Bowling teams at Rose Hill Senior Center. These are some Wii bowling pictures of Cathy. The one on the left is at an awards party, the second one is her after bowling her first 300 game, the last two were taken when Dennis Berkholtz, the NSL director, came to visit at the center. Please accept my condolences! Her wonderful spirit will be missed.
