Obituary for Christine Perdue
Mrs. Christine G. Perdue, 89, of Dothan passed away Monday, January 24, 2022, at her residence.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Rev. Fox Fleming officiating and Glover Funeral Directing. The family will receive friends following the graveside service. Flowers are being accepted.
Mrs. Perdue was born March 15, 1932 in Georgiana, Alabama to the late JC and Annie Ruth Hitson Goram. During her early years she was raised in Butler County, Alabama and was a graduate of Georgiana High School. She worked as a homemaker and was a good Christian woman. Christine was a member of Berean Baptist Church.
Mrs. Perdue was preceded in death by, her husband, Benson Hugh Perdue; three brothers, T.J. Goram, Lamar Goram, and Ernie Goram.
She is survived by her 3 sons, Larry Perdue (Peggy), Billy Perdue (Linda), and Mark Perdue (Erica); two daughters, Linda Stoddard (Phil) and Cindy Kandel (Andrew); ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Billy Perdue, Sr., Keith Perdue, Kobe Perdue, C. Jay Perdue, Travis Perdue and Jeffrey Hicks.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brody Perdue, Skip Duffie and Johnathan Hill.
