David Michael Bardolf was born on February 26, 1942 in Camden, NJ to Harriet Kingsmore. He went to be with our Lord on September 22, 2022 in Dothan, AL surrounded by his loving son and daughter, daughter-in-law and son-in-law.

David graduated from Collingswood High in 1960 after which he entered the U.S. Air Force. David was a proud member of the U.S. Air Force and served honorably from 1961 until 1992. David also served as a member of the Georgia Air National Guard from 1979 until 1991. He then joined and honorably retired from the U.S. Air Force reserves as a Master Sergeant in 2002. While in the Air Force David met the love of his life, Faye E. Johnson. David married Faye in Richmond Hill, GA on June 13, 1964, David and Faye were married for 55 years, he was a loving, committed and devoted husband. David and Faye traveled the country as David remained in the Air Force until 1992. David and Faye started an electronic repair company in Hilton Head, SC in 1986 where they enjoyed
working together for many years. David and Faye settled in Daleville, AL until her passing at which time David settled in Eufaula, AL. David is survived by his son M. Keith Bardolf, LTC U.S. Army (Ret.) and his wife Madeline Bardolf of Eufaula, AL, two granddaughters Michaela R. Bardolf of Auburn, AL and Rainey E. Bardolf of Birmingham, AL; daughter Michelle Faye Hodges and her husband John A. Hodges, III, of Santa Rosa Beach, FL three grandsons Zane K. Hodges (fiancé Lauren Miller) of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Kemper J. Hodges of U.S. Air
Force Prep. Academy, Colorado Springs, CO, and Hollis K. Hodges of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; one great-grandson Hayes Lane Hodges of Santa Rosa Beach, FL; sister-in-law Judith Ann Watson (Eugene), brother-in-law Jesse LeRoy Johnson, sister-in-law Dorothy Louis Canterino and a host of nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his wife Faye E. Bardolf, brother George Bardolf, mother Harriet (Kingsmore) Ruther and stepfather Hal Ruther.

Service will be held at Glover Funeral Home 3121 S. Eufaula Ave., Eufaula, AL
on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 9:30am (Central Time) immediately followed
by interment service at 12:00 (Central Time) Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, 553
Highway 165, Ft. Mitchell, AL 36856.
