Obituary for Debra Ann Jacobs
Debra Ann Jacobs died Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Southeast Health. She was 53.
Born April 29th 1968 to David and Phyllis Werth. She was the 4th of 7 children born in Gary Indiana. She was preceeded in death by her parents David and Phyllis Werth, brothers David, Richard, and Michael Werth, her nephew Timothy Benefield.
She is survived by her husband Oscar Jacobs, son Cameron, daughter Katie, and grandson Liam Jacobs, sisters Miriam Yates and her husband Terry, Bethany Farmer and her husband Larry, Jael Rainbolt and her husband Shawn. And with countless nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Debbie dedicated her life to Jehovah God on July 1987 and lived as one of his servants. She married the love of her life, Oscar Jacobs, on September 30th 1989. They remained madly in love until her death Sunday August 22nd 2021. Together they had two children Cameron and Katie. Debbie wanted nothing more than to be a wife and mother. She was delighted to become a parent but her real joy came when her daughter Katie gave birth to their 1st grandchild, Liam.
Debbie was a passionate in arts and crafts and crocheted for all she loved. Debbie was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother and she was a genuine friend. She will be missed beyond mention but nothing will be missed more then her contagious laugh.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Shawn Rainbolt officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 until 10:45 on Saturday prior to service time.
