Obituary for Earl Nathaniel "Bud" Lang
Mr. Earl “Bud” Lang, a resident of Clayton, Alabama passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama. He was 79 years old.
Earl was born February 18, 1943, in Sarasota, Florida to the late Marcy Terrell and Dorothy Louise Brown Lang. He was a retired Encapsulation Technician for L3 Communications. After his retirement he and his wife enjoyed traveling the United States. In his early years he enjoyed farming. Mr. Earl was known around town as the “Candy Man” because he always had a pocket full of candy that he loved sharing with everyone. Earl and his wife have resided in Clayton for the past 24 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Marcella Godwin and Dee Perez.
Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Dorothy Marie Lee Lang; son, Chris Lee (Susan) of Key Largo, Florida; sister, June Adams (D.J.) of Nunnely, Tennessee; granddaughter, Christen Lee of Key Largo, Florida; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Barbour County Humane Society- 99 Gilchrist Road Clayton, Alabama 36016.
