Ellon M. Collins, a lifetime resident of Dothan, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at her residence. She was 105 years old.

Private family graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 19, 2021 at Memphis Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Rick Glenn officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing.

Ms. Collins was born March 6, 1916 in Marion County, Alabama to Zack and Ada Tucker Johnson and lived most of her life in Houston County. Ms. Collins was a lifetime member of Memphis Baptist Church.

She is predeceased by her parents and husband, Lewis H. “Buck” Collins, daughters, Hellon Collins Lewis and Jeanette Collins, two sons-in-law, Paul Peacock and William E. Lewis.


She is survived by two daughters, Diana Womack (Shelby) of Dothan and Patricia Peacock of Ashford; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and great-great-great grandchildren; several special loving nieces and nephews; special friends Mika and Avaree.
