Obituary for Faye Forehand (Greeson)
Faye Forehand, 96, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022, at her residence with her family by her side.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Kinsey with Pastor Troy West officiating and Glover Funeral Home of Dothan directing. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Lovetown Volunteer Fire Department, (1340 Sweetie Smith Road, Ashford, Alabama, 36312).
Faye was born November 24, 1925 in Pennville, Georgia to the late Walter R. Greeson and Jessie Pearl Giles. She married John W. Forehand, and together they had two children. Faye spent her life as homemaker and lived in Houston County for 50 years. She was also a devoted member of Bethel Baptist Church.
She is predeceased in death by her parents; her husband of 39 years, John W. Forehand; two sisters, Gladys Worsham and Lois Grogan; two brothers, Jim Tom Greeson and Arzo Greeson.
Faye is survived by: a daughter, Cathy Deese (Terry) of Dothan; a son, Allen Forehand of Dothan; three grandchildren, Carly Deese of Dothan, Kyle Deese of Dothan, and Brandon Forehand (Erin) of Live Oak, Florida; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. special friends, Leigh Taylor, Harry Summerford, and Doug Summerford.
