Obituary for Fred Dempsey McClenny Jr.
Fred “Freddy” Dempsy McClenny, Jr., age 66, a resident of The Forks of the Creek community in Marianna, Florida, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021, at his residence.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends at Glover Funeral Home Friday, June 4, 2021, from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
Freddy was born August 26, 1954, in Dothan, Alabama to Fred and Valeria McClenny. He spent his early years in Columbia, Alabama, and was a graduate of Houston County High School. Freddy worked as a carpenter in general construction for many years and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Malone, Florida.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ernie McClenny.
Survivors include his daughter, Tiffany Marie McClenny of Dothan, and the mother of his daughter, Patsy Jackson Sexton of Dothan.
