Obituary for Hermione Baber (Hill)
Mrs. Hermione Hill Baber, age 100, a resident of Cowarts, passed away February 24, 2020, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 am, Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at Cowarts Baptist Church in Cowarts, with Reverend Chris Dunnam officiating. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery with Kendall Glover directing.
The family will receive friends from 9:45 am until 10:15 am prior to the services at Cowarts Baptist Church.
Mrs. Baber was born on December 6, 1919 in Lawrence County, AL to John Riley and Pairlee Bradley Hill. She spent the last 30 years in the Ashford and Cowarts area. Hermione was employed as a sitter in the healthcare industry and was a member of Cowarts Baptist Church.
Mrs. Baber was preceded in death by her husband, Chandler Baber and her parents.
Survivors include her 2 sons James Donald and Roy Richard Baber of Cowarts; 2 brothers Leon (Oradean) Hill and Horace (Melba) Hill of Moulton, AL; 2 sisters Tula Bracken of Trinity and Jeanette (Billy) Reed of Hillsboro, AL.
