Obituary for James Marshall Trawick
James Marshall Trawick, 63, a resident of Ashford, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022 at Flowers Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2022 at Union Hill Baptist Church in Cottonwood with Rev. Kyle Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. on Monday prior to service time.
Marshall was born March 6, 1959 in Dothan to James L. and Mary Marie Marshall and moved to Birmingham at an early age. He was a graduate of E.B. Erwin High School in Birmingham and later earned his B.S. Degree from the University of Alabama Birmingham. He was employed in the Insurance industry in sales and marketing most of his career and presently was working with Kemper Life. Marshall loved Alabama football and loved his family. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is predeceased by his parents.
Survivors include two brothers, Doug Trawick (Clara) of Haines City, FL and Joey Trawick (Martha) of Ashford; his girlfriend, Martha Nan Rush of Birmingham and a special friend, Cheryl Roy of Birmingham.
Active pallbearers will be Mike Saunders, John Ralph Saunders, Peyton Saunders, John Lewis Saunders, Bill Saunders and Joshua Trawick.
