Obituary for Jimmy Earl Gentle
Jimmy Gentle, 68, a resident of Dothan, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2020, at his home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be announced later.
Jimmy was born December 18, 1951, to Alvin Earl and Mary Gentle. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp for 2 ½ years during the Vietnam Era. Jimmy worked as a painter in the construction industry. He loved motorcycles, especially his Harley Davidson.
He is predeceased by several loving family members.
Survivors include his mother, 2 sons Chris Gentle of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Jimmy Earl Gentle, II of Dothan, 1 daughter Cindy Whidden-Rusnak of Jacksonville, FL; 1 brother Scott Griswold of Lawrenceville, GA; and a sister Jan Gentle of Dothan; 2 grandchildren Logan and Lance; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
