Obituary

Mr. Jimmy Langford Smith, Jr., passed away Saturday night, April 25, 2020 at his residence. He was 78.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Smith was born December 20, 1941 in Grangerburg, Alabama to Jimmy Langford and Annie Laura Elmore Smith. He grew up in in Grangerburg and Dothan. He served his country in the U. S. Navy. Mr. Smith was a diesel mechanic and a truck driver all of his working career and was a member of Antioch Assembly of God Church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Ronnie Smith.

He is survived by two sons, Jamey Lynn Smith (Heather Kaye) and David Jerome Smith, all of Webb; a daughter, Suzanne Michelle Lindsey of Webb; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a sister, Patricia Dawn Bishop of Kinston.

I was in the Navy with Jimmy. He was a good man and lived life to the fullest.
Please accept my deepest condolences.
Cherish the fond memories and always keep in mind that some time in the future we will all be together again.

Jimmy, you will be missed by so many You , Howard and Bobby loved fishing and desil trucks. Always was such a very good Father , Brother, Grand father and always there for each one of them and life will have great memories of the love you had for each. A good friend to all and special cousin to me. I will miss you so but my heart sings knowing that you are with all our loved one in Heaven who greater you Jome. Where there is no more pain no sorrow I can see you now walking on the shores of Heaven saying to us. I am home now and it is so beautiful. Don’t greave for me. Just remember how much I loved all of you and now I Amat peace I will issuing Jimmy
