Obituary for Jimmy Langford Smith Jr.
Mr. Jimmy Langford Smith, Jr., passed away Saturday night, April 25, 2020 at his residence. He was 78.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Smith was born December 20, 1941 in Grangerburg, Alabama to Jimmy Langford and Annie Laura Elmore Smith. He grew up in in Grangerburg and Dothan. He served his country in the U. S. Navy. Mr. Smith was a diesel mechanic and a truck driver all of his working career and was a member of Antioch Assembly of God Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Ronnie Smith.
He is survived by two sons, Jamey Lynn Smith (Heather Kaye) and David Jerome Smith, all of Webb; a daughter, Suzanne Michelle Lindsey of Webb; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a sister, Patricia Dawn Bishop of Kinston.
