Obituary for Linda D. Bullard (Irvin)

Linda Bullard (Irvin) was a caring mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She left this world on February 27, 2022, at age 70.

She was born to Willie Bell Irvin and Von Irvin on October 10, 1951. Linda chased her passion and got a Bachelor of Arts degree. She later went to nursing school and spent most of her nursing career as a home health care nurse. Linda was a compassionate and caring nurse who loved helping her patients.

As a teenager, Linda was quite the athlete. Despite her small size, she competed in track and basketball.

Linda loved spending time with her grandchildren. She spent most evenings and weekends attending the band concerts, ball games, karate tournaments, and school events of her grandchildren. She taught her children and grandchildren that all people were equal and deserved love. Linda taught her daughters that they could do anything they wanted to. She loved to tend to the flowers in her garden. Linda was an accomplished artist and loved to go to galleries and see the work of other artists.

Linda is survived by daughters Jan (Ronnie) and Elizabeth (Scott), grandsons Aaron, Cameron (Melody), Connor, and Caleb, great-grandchildren Delilah and Lillie Belle. Linda is survived by mother Willie Bell Irvin and nine siblings.

Linda’s Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Rusty Milton officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing.

Her family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to dementia research in her memory.
