Obituary for Linda Nell Hutto (Beaty)

Mrs. Linda Nell Beaty Hutto, a resident of Clayton, Alabama passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at her residence. She was 72 years old.

Graveside services will be held Friday, October 21, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery in Clayton, Alabama with Pastor Keener Batchelor officiating and Glover Funeral Home of Clayton directing. A visitation will be held Thursday, October 20, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Glover Funeral Home in Clayton. Flowers will be accepted.

Mrs. Linda was born January 3, 1950, in her family home in Clayton, Alabama to the late William Robert and Mattie Mae Bush Beaty. She was a graduate of Blue Springs High School. Mrs. Linda worked as an office clerk at the Food Giant. She enjoyed reading, thrifting at yard sales, an avid animal lover and really loved her cows, and watching Westerns. Most of all she loved her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; father of her children, Henry Hutto; sister, Phyllis Beaty.

Left to cherish her memories are two daughters, Dawn Williams (Ronald) of Clayton, Alabama, Shannon Starling (Randy) of Headland, Alabama; brother, Danny Beaty (Kathy) of Abbeville, Alabama; seven grandchildren, Brittni Harrell (Kaylon), Whittni Barrentine (Chris), Candace Merritt (Jonathan), Ashley McDonald (Garrett), Trip Starling, Tanner Pittman (Wynter), Hunter Starling; twelve great-grandchildren, Kolton McDonald, Whitley McDonald, Tinlee Hawkins, Harper Hawkins, Haisley Hawkins, Jonah Merritt, Judah Merritt, Ally Jo Harrell, Riley Harrell, Ridge Harrell, Cooper Barrentine, Caroline Barrentine.

Asked to serve as pallbearers are Trip Starling, Hunter Starling, Tanner Pittman, Kaylon Harrell, Chris Barrentine, Jonathan Merritt, Garrett Hawkins, and Zach Parsons.
