Obituary for Michael Anthony Clark

Michael Anthony Clark, a resident of Dothan, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022 at his residence after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 55.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Fred Bacher and Jason Stawarz officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. on Thursday prior to service time. Flowers are being accepted.

Mike was born July 25, 1966 in Dothan where he lived most of his life. He was a 1984 graduate of Cottonwood High School. After high school, he served his country in the U. S. Air Force. Following his military service Mike was a police officer in Cottonwood for several years. For the past 15 years, he was employed as a civilian contractor by the Department of the Army, most recently as the maintenance director for the soldier dining facilities at multiple military bases. Mike attended Hodgesville Baptist Church.

Mike is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Lawson Clark and a son, Caleb Patrick Wise.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Clark of Dothan; three children, Christian Clark (Shelby) of Hodgesville, Christopher Wise (Sarah) of Coffee Springs and Courtney Glenn (Hunter) of Hodgesville; two grandchildren, Lawson James Clark and Gunner Caleb Glenn and a third grandchild coming soon; his mother, Lynda Sewell (Billy Earl) of Hodgesville; two sisters, Leann Dixon (Tony) of Hodgesville and Vickie Massey (Dean) of Climax, GA; two brothers, Ray Sewell (Susan) of Pooler, GA and J.J. Sewell of Bainbridge, GA; a special aunt, Sarah Martin of Dothan; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
