Obituary

Philip Andrew Holland, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly at a hospital in Fort Walton Beach, Florida on Tuesday July 21, 2020. He was 42 years old.

Due to COVID restrictions, a private memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday July 24, 2020 at Glover Funeral Home Chapel for immediate family only. Tim Owens will officiate. No visitation is scheduled.

Philip was born on December 13, 1977 in Dothan and graduated from Cottonwood High School. After that he achieved his Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Troy State University in 2001. He was currently employed as the Administrator for SouthEast Cardiology. He was very knowledgeable and well liked in the business community. Bob, June, Alexis and family,
The loss of Philip touches our heart and makes us miss him already. As I reminisce of him growing up with Sandi and Jason It brings fond memories to mind. He could be a bit mischievous, but just enough to make him fun to be around. He proved to be a true friend to our family and we were always delighted to see him. In the past few months he showed his love for his parents in caring for you in a time of great need. May Jehovah strengthen all of the family as you face the great loss of a dear son, loving father and beloved nephew, cousin and friend.

With sympathy,
Kenny and Ginger Taylor

Where do I even begin? You always were the life of the party and always included everyone. My favorite ginger. You taught me to appreciate Oral-B Glide floss & a well made French 75 or Vodka Soda, but only with Tito’s. A fellow Sagittarius. We often reminisced about our travels. You helped me spread my wings to fly. I could go on about who you were, but I’m thankful that you’re resting in the arms of Jesus. I take comfort in that God’s will is greater than our own. You were more than just my administrator. You were one of my best friends. We love you always, Philip A. Holland. Many thoughts and prayers to everyone who knew and loved him, especially his daughter, Alexis, and the rest of his family. May God give you comfort and peace.
