Obituary for Philip Andrew Holland

Philip Andrew Holland, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly at a hospital in Fort Walton Beach, Florida on Tuesday July 21, 2020. He was 42 years old.

Due to COVID restrictions, a private memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday July 24, 2020 at Glover Funeral Home Chapel for immediate family only. Tim Owens will officiate. No visitation is scheduled.

Philip was born on December 13, 1977 in Dothan and graduated from Cottonwood High School. After that he achieved his Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Troy State University in 2001. He was currently employed as the Administrator for SouthEast Cardiology. He was very knowledgeable and well liked in the business community. He was also a member of The Dothan Elks Lodge and knew everyone.

Philip was a loving and very devoted father to his daughter Alexis. He loved spending time with her, taking her often to the beach and the lake. They made many trips to Disneyworld, greatly enjoying their time there together. Philip also took her to see the broadway play Cinderella in New York City.

Philip was very outgoing, with a quick and bright smile that will be missed by Alexis, his family and all who knew him.

Philip was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Survivors include his loving daughter Alexis Holland, his parents Bob and June Holland, several aunts and uncles and many cousins.
