Obituary for Sandra Kay Fisher (Wright)
Sandy Fisher, a resident of Dothan, passed away Thursday morning, March 31, 2022 at her residence.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2022 at Cottonwood Senior Citizens Center with Rev. Phillip Dunn officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
Sandy was born August 21, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri to Clyde and Lorene Wright and lived the early years of her life in Big Sandy, Tennessee. She moved to Houston County in 1986 where she lived the remainder of her life. She was of the Baptist faith.
Sandy is predeceased by her parents, a sister, Lillian Peach and a brother, Clyde Wright.
Survivors include two daughters, Amy Staubitz (Michael Cottingham) of Dothan and Emily Tice of Cottonwood; three grandchildren, Christopher Hall (Heather), Niccolas Tice and Peighton Goolsby; two great-grandchildren, Max Smith and Liam Tice; a sister, Lola Wright of Waverly, Tennessee; an aunt, Marie Singleton (Neil) of New Johnsonville, Tennessee; a brother-in-law, Roy Peach of Cottonwood; a sister-in-law, Eileen Wright of Streamwood, Illinois; several nieces and nephews.
