Sherry Moon Floyd, a resident of Dothan, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022, at Flowers Hospital. She was 52.
Memorial services will be held 3:30 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2023 at Cornerstone Church, (2685 John D. Odom Road) with Pastor Bobby Marks officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 3:00 until 3:30 p.m. Monday afternoon prior to service time.
Flowers are being accepted and may be delivered to the church on Monday, May 15, 2023, or memorials in Sherry’s name may be made to the Dothan Area Botanical Gardens, 5130 Headland Avenue, Dothan, Alabama, 36303.
Sherry was born in Houston County, Alabama on October 26, 1970. She was a real estate agent and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Floyd of Dothan; her mother, Gail Scott (Bobby); her father, Larry E. Tyson of Dothan; a sister, Teresa Boyett of Owensboro, Kentucky; two nephews, Tyler Daniel and Josh Shane Boyett; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
