Obituary for Velda Brewer
Velda Lee Brewer, “NeNe” a resident of Daleville, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Flowers Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was 66.
Mrs. Brewer was born August 20, 1953 in Jacksonville, Florida to Edgar Graham and Patricia Lee Michaels Harris. She resided in Florida for over 30 years and was employed with Disney World. She later moved to Daleville where she lived for over 20 years and was employed with the BP Station until her retirement. She enjoyed knitting and her grandchildren were her world. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed by all.
She is predeceased by her father, Edgar Graham Harris, her grandson, Damien Julian Adams, her “MeMaw” and the love of her life, Phillip Courtland Brewer, II.
She is survived by her mother, Patricia Hubler; six children, Daniel Adams, Christina Quirantes, Carmen Quirantes, Johnny Quirantes, Laura Quirantes and Crystal Quirantes; sixteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers; a sister; several nieces and nephews also survive.
