Obituary for William John Samuels
William John Samuels, age 75, a resident of Headland, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Flowers Hospital after a brief illness.

Mr. Samuels was born November 23, 1944 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Webb P. Samuels and Shirley Grace Kluever Samuels. He retired from the USMC as a MSGT following 20 years of service. Mr. Samuels served in Law Enforcement with Dougherty County Sheriffs and Albany Police Department from 1982 until 1985. He then worked with Civil Service at Blount Island Command in Jacksonville, Florida where he retired in 2006 after 21 years of service.
He is predeceased by his parents and a daughter Evonne Samuels.
Survivors include his son Billy Samuels of McCalla, a stepson Brandon Yeager of West Blocton, 2 brothers Terry Samuels, Ft. Wright, KY and Jack Samuels of Bluffton, SC.
